Danieli Hotel Venice Review
Danieli Hotel Venice Review – After about a half an hour trip from the airport, we arrived at the door by water taxi – what a different experience! We were astounded with the location that is in an unbeatable position beside the lagoon and next door to the Doge’s palace. The concierge was excellent and helped us check into our room straight away.
Our room was absolute luxury in every way. Spacious and immaculate, with a wonderfully large bathroom and dressing room. The hotel building itself is quite impressive. We went to the lobby bar, which is an exquisite historic Palatial estate with stained glass windows and large marble columns. Just magnificent! The building is made up of three linked palazzo (old and new) – you could spend an hour in the lobby itself just admiring the architecture.

Hotel Danieli Venice
Throughout our trip the staff and service continued to be impeccable. There is an excellent terrace restaurant with one of the best views in the city. When we arrived we were told that it was booked out for dinner over the next two days! But our persistence showed and the staff was able to arrange a dinner table for us on the second night as well as brunch the following day. We couldn’t have been happier, especially because we knew it was busy with a few cruise liners in town.
With a private dock right outside, first class service was in order when we ordered a water “taxi” to go out and explore. Although it was hard to want to leave after having breakfast on the rooftop! What a start to anyone’s day.

There is no doubt in my mind that I would stay here again when we return to Venice. Don’t worry if you can’t afford the top suites. Just get a cheaper room and enjoy the rooftop terrace and views. The staff will endeavor to make your stay unique.
