Day: 1 Venice - Cortina D'Ampezzo

On arrival in Venice, transfer to your spectacular hotel in Cortina d’Ampezzo for your upcoming exploration of the Dolomites. The Dolomites are listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage property for its exceptional natural beauty and feature some of the most beautiful landscapes anywhere, with vertical walls, sheer cliffs and narrow, deep valleys. On arrival in Cortina d’Ampezzo, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. The charming alpine resort town is surrounded by stunning peaks and hosted the 1956 (and upcoming 2026) Winter Olympics.

Day: 2 Cortina d'Ampezzo - Fanes Waterfalls - Cortina d'Ampezzo

Embark on a captivating journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Cortina d'Ampezzo. Begin with a private sightseeing tour and a guided hike to the awe-inspiring Fanes Waterfalls (this will include snowshoeing during the winter). Immerse yourself in the stunning scenery and marvel at the snow-covered wonders during winter, before returning to Cortina for an evening of leisure.

Day: 3 Cortina d'Ampezzo - Cinque Torri - Corvara in Badia

Visit the impressive five grey dolomite towers known as the Cinque Torri with a guided tour. Continue by chairlift through the forest for aerial views of the mountain range and WWI trenches below. Explore the trenches on foot with your guide and finish with a descent to the picturesque Alta Badia. The evening is at your leisure to roam the village to learn about the life of the ‘Ladini’ people.

Today enjoy a sightseeing tour of Balzano and learn about the unique mix of the Italian and Austrian cultures. Visit the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology, which houses the famous mummy known as Ötzi the Iceman. Ötzi, a 5,300-year-old preserved body, provides valuable insights into prehistoric life and has become an iconic symbol of the region's archaeological significance. The afternoon is at your leisure. We recommend visiting the nearby Renon Plateau, accessible by a historic cable car providing stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes.
