Day: 1 Ljubljana

Tucked between Italy, Austria and Croatia, Slovenia may be small and relatively undiscovered, but it delivers pristine alpine villages, cliffside castles, emerald lakes and a stunning coastline. On arrival, transfer to your wonderful hotel and enjoy the rest of the day to explore the pedestrian friendly historic centre with cafés lining the banks of the Ljubljana River, beautiful Plečnik designed buildings, museums and a vibrant atmosphere.

Today, discover more of Slovenia’s stunning natural beauty. Depart Lake Bled for a visit of Predjama Castle, built within a cave mouth to make access difficult. The structure dates to the 13th century and features a hidden passageway.
