Day: 1 Broadway (Worcestershire)

Discover the Cotswolds, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty characterised by charming villages of honey-coloured stone, surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. On arrival, stroll the main street lined with red chestnut trees and 16th century buildings, visit the tea rooms and explore its many art and antique shops.

Day: 2 Broadway – Kingham – Lower Slaughter – Bourton-on-the-Water – Naunton – Broadway

Visit a selection of nearby villages. Drive through Blockley and arrive in the story book village of Kingham, featuring rows of unspoilt limestone cottages and open village greens. The village was voted England’s favourite and hosts Jamie Oliver for The Big Feastival in August. Stop at The White Rabbit, the local’s favourite pub. Continue to Lower Slaughter that boasts England’s most romantic street in England, Copse Hill Road. Afterward, explore Bourton-on-the-Water, known as ‘the Venice of the Cotswolds’. Here the River Windrush trickles through the village under small bridges. Finish off the tourist route with a visit of the delightful unspoiled Naunton.
